When I was working as a nurse and working my way through medical school at a nursing home most nursing homes this was known as the recipe. It may work well for some elderly and Young people but I could eat a quart of it and it's not going to do a thing. Give it a try it can't hurt you

I also add one cup of dried appricots and a quarter cup of molasses. Store in the refrigerator. I put it on English muffins or just eat a spoonful. Chase it with a cup of hot water or herbal tea.
